What’s New in File Cabinet Pro 4.9.5

-The search field in the toolbar no longer has a fixed width; it will now grow up to 325 points wide when you enlarge the window or when you rearrange toolbar items, as long as there is enough room in the toolbar for it to fit.
-You can now add fixed “Space” items to the toolbar. Previously only “Flexible Space” items could be added to the toolbar.

Version 4.9:
-File Cabinet Pro now provides a “View Checksum in File Cabinet Pro” Service. You can use File Cabinet Pro to view the SHA256, SHA1, or MD5 checksum of files. You can enable or disable this Service from System Preferences.

Version 4.8:
-You can now copy the pathnames of selected files to the clipboard using the Option+Command+C keyboard shortcut. You can also perform this action from the pop up menu by selecting files and right clicking, then hold down the option key to expose the “Copy as Pathname” menu item in the pop up menu.
-You can now change the sort policy by clicking a column header in list view; clicking the same header multiple times in a row toggles between ascending and descending order.
-When changing the sort policy from File Cabinet Pro’s context menu, you can now choose a sort policy in descending order by holding down the option key to expose an alternate list of menu items.
-You can now optionally show a “Date Last Opened” and a “Date Created” column in list view. If you wish to show these new columns, right click on the header in list view to unhide them using the context menu.
-If you have a sort policy set and the metadata of a file shown changes, File Cabinet Pro will now adjust the order of files to preserve the integrity of the current sort policy if necessary.

Version 4.6:
-Added sort by “Size” option.
-Link to the developer’s website is displayed in the “About File Cabinet Pro” window.
-You can change directories by double-clicking in the path bar. Note that due to App Sandboxing rules you may have to grant permission in the System provided Open Panel navigate to a parent directory if File Cabinet Pro does not have permission to access the directory.

Version 4.5.3:
-You can now sort files by Kind.

Version 4.5:
-A “Services” submenu now appears in File Cabinet Pro’s context menu. You can now launch Services for your selected files directly in File Cabinet Pro.

Version 4.4:
-Fixes compatibility issues with macOS High Sierra.
-Moving files into File Cabinet Pro via drag and drop now supports undo/redo. You may need to grant permission to an ancestor directory in Settings in order for File Cabinet Pro to be able to put files back on undo due to App sandboxing rules.
-Minor bug fixes and improvements.

Version 4.3:
-You can now batch rename files in File Cabinet Pro. To do this, select multiple files in File Cabinet Pro and right click to bring up the context menu, then choose the “Rename” menu item.
