Easily convert values between different currencies
Currency Assistant is a streamlined and simple to use macOS app that lets you create and use as many currency conversion windows as you need. Each of them can contain up to 24 currencies and has its own tape in a drawer to log conversion results.
Converters are very easy to set up or edit, have an Action pop-up menu to quickly accomplish recurrent tasks and a Rate pop-up menu to view and copy exchange rates, and can be closed when you don’t need them so that they aren’t in your way.
Currency Assistant speeds up calculating conversions. You can copy multiple amounts from Excel or another application and paste them to the desired input display: Currency Assistant will automatically convert all the pasted amounts and log results in the tape.
You can edit or restore currencies, set your base currency, automatically update exchange rates over the Internet, and customize the Add Currency and Switch Currency menus.
Finally, Currency Assistant lets you print the tape and allows you to highlight specific currencies in red, green, or blue in printouts.
What’s New in Currency Assistant 3.2.7
- The incompatibilities with macOS 10.13 High Sierra have been solved.
- Following a major reorganization of the Bank of Canada web site, the automatic update using the exchange rates published by the Bank of Canada has been dropped.
