Easy to use Mac OS X application that offers you the possibility to visualize the readings of all available hardware sensors in Macintosh computers.
Mac computers come with built in hardware sensors designed to monitor the temperature of various components. Hardware Monitor is a simple Mac app that offers you the possibility to see these values in real time, in a clean and organized environment.
User friendly software solution for monitoring your Mac’s hardware sensors
Hardware Monitor extracts all the sensor information in real time, so all you have to do is customize the way in which this data is displayed.
By default, Hardware Monitor opens a Sensor Overview panel (clicking on each sensor will open a new information panel), and a bar window that displays the temperatures in a larger font.
At the same time, you can visualize the sensors values in the Hardware Monitor status bar menu, or in the Dock icon. Via the app’s Preferences window you can adjust the way in which this information is displayed in various areas of your desktop.
Effortlessly personalize the way in which you visualize the sensor values
Right off the bat, Hardware Monitor allows you to change general details such as the temperature measurement unit, or the update interval for the general and for the S.M.A.R.T. disk sensors. Furthermore, you can change the sensor’s default name and assign them a specific color.
Furthermore, you can change the window’s layout, the background color, the font size and alignment, the sensors that should be included and their default order, and so on. Hardware Monitor also provides support for setting up audio, text, or voice alerts if the value of a sensor changes.
Uncomplicated system monitoring solution that gathers data from hardware sensors
Hardware Monitor is a simple Mac app designed to help you visualize the values recorded by your Mac’s built in hardware sensors. The app enables you to personalize the way in which the information is displayed, so you can integrate it in your desktop, and have access to the data without disrupting your workflow.
