1Blocker allows you to block ads and tracking scripts in Safari. It is highly configurable, comes with over 39,000 preinstalled blockers, and lets you whitelist websites you love with a Safari extension.
In addition to ad blocking, you can also block comments, various social widgets, share buttons, obtrusive EU cookie law notices, adult sites, and even create your own custom blocker rules.
While most other extensions block content by filtering elements of already downloaded page, 1Blocker uses modern WebKit blocking technology to tell Safari in advance what should be blocked. This vastly improves efficiency and saves battery life. More importantly, 1Blocker doesn't expose your privacy by scanning content of the pages you visit.
1Blocker is a leading content blocker for iOS and Mac. We are fully supported by users — we don't make deals with advertisers or sell your data to publishers.
Note: Safari 10 is required for 1Blocker content blocking.
What's New in Version 1.2.4:
• Fixed 1Blocker Menu Safari extension crash. Also added ability to quickly send us feedback via Menu.
• Updated "Block Trackers" package, fixed issues on reported websites (9to5Google, Electrek, TechnoBuffalo, GitHub comments)
• Polished a few interface details in 1Blocker app (scroll bars no longer look awkward).
Important: please launch the app after update to apply new preinstalled packages.
