TypeIt4Me is the original text expander for Mac OS, available since 1989. It will save you countless keystrokes and time when you type short abbreviations that will expand to full text or even pictures.
Define a number of abbreviations and the full text (or picture) clippings (aka "snippets") they represent, then watch the Mac expand them on the fly even as you continue typing.
Type a short abbreviation and have it expand to a word, a phrase, even several pages worth of text and images in the blink of an eye.
Expand your custom-defined shorthand: some words and phrases are both common and awkwardly long. Find yourself using the word "qualifications" a lot? With Typeit4me you could just type "quals". Similarly, "ux" could become "user experience", "isys" could expand to "information systems", and so on.
Wish you could avoid common typos? Define the typo as an "abbreviation" to "expand" to... the correctly spelled word. So bye-bye teh instead of the, wierd instead of weird, and so on. Or simply turn on TypeIt4Me's AutoCorrect, which will automatically use the top suggestion made by AppleSpell, the built-in spell checker found in every Mac.
