Overview

A practical and easy-to-use clipboard manager that enables you to effortlessly handle your clipboard history with just a few key strokes

CopyClip is a lightweight and intuitive macOS application specially made from scratch to help you access your Mac's clipboard history.

Reuse previously copied text snippets from your pasteboard's history

Moreover, CopyClip is designed to quietly run in the background and capture all text fragments and snippets copied to the pasteboard.

From CopyClip’s status bar menu you can easily view recently copied text and select the entry that you need to reuse. On top of that you have the option to select any text from the first ten entries  using the predefined keyboards shortcuts.

You can quickly clear all recorded clipboard history with just a few clicks of a mouse button and access the Preferences window in order to configure CopyClip to start at login.

Exclude applications from the monitoring process using the built-in blacklist feature

Moreover, CopyClip can be configured to remember any given number of clippings and display only a certain number of clippings in the status bar menu.

If you are concerned with your data security and you don’t want CopyClip to grab data you copied from certain applications, you can include these apps in CopyClip’s blacklist. This exclusion list helps you protect sensitive data and prevent accidental sharing of personal information.

Although CopyClip comes with a series of keyboard shortcuts that you can use to bring the any of the last ten entries back to the clipboard, you cannot use them as global hot keys as well.

In other words, you are required to access CopyClip’s status bar menu in order to take advantage of the predefined keyboard shortcut.

Predefined hot keys to rapidly select previous copied snippets

It would have been more useful if CopyClip allowed us to customize the predefined keyboard shortcuts. The support for global hot keys would also greatly boost the productivity and workflow speed of the targeted Mac users.

All thing considered, CopyClip is a handy application that you can use to quickly find and reuse any snippet of text that you previously cut or copied using your Mac's pasteboard.
